The simplest way to define a BLIND SPOT is: An area outside your car that you cannot see, esp. in your mirror, when driving. Thus, it is an area around the vehicle that cannot be directly observed by the driver while at the controls, under existing circumstances. Today in the Gospel of John 9:1-41 we have an amazing narrative about Physical Blindness and Spiritual Blindness. Spiritual Blindness, one gathers can be the result of spiritual “Blind Spots.” The Pharisees, claimed to have sight, which showed their complete unawareness of their spiritual blindness and need. And, though they claimed to have sight, their actions were evidence of their blindness.
