Part of the Sunday series, preached at a Sunday service

The Gospel text tell us about “The Temptation of Jesus” We read:“Jesus, full of the Holy Spirit, returned from the Jordan and was led by the Spirit in the wilderness, where for forty days he was tempted by the devil.” All of us know what temptation means--what temptation is about. Temptation is said to be: “A desire to do something, especially something wrong or unwise.” But we are reminded in the Romans text that we just have to accept Jesus as our Lord and Savior and we shall be saved--saved from eternal damnation.
