"The Power of A Glass of Water" (Genesis 22:1-14, Matthew 10:40-42)

Jesus said, “And whoever gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones in the name of a disciple, truly I tell you, none of these will lose their reward.” Discipleship = Hospitality
Hospitality is the friendly reception and treatment of guests or strangers. Or, the quality or disposition of receiving and treating guests and strangers in a warm, friendly, generous way. Sometimes God ask us to make great sacrifices as in the OT text of Genesis 22:1-14, or other times it is as simply as “offering a glass of cold water” to someone who needs it.
