The songwriter penned: “Bread of heaven, on thee we feed, for thou art our food indeed. Ever may our souls be fed with this true and living bread, day by day with strength supplied through the life of Christ who died.” Another songwriter penned, “Fill my cup, Lord; I lift it up Lord; Come and quench this thirsting of my soul. Bread of Heaven, feed me till I want no more. Fill my cup, fill it up and make me whole.”
Jesus said, "I am the Bread of Life. The person who aligns with me hungers no more and thirsts no more, ever” (Message Bible).
