Most earthly job descriptions are pretty boiler plate: They list the necessary qualifications, the desired skill-set, and the personal characteristics the employer is looking for. For employers who want to maximize their employee’s time and talents for their own benefit and profit – qualities like being ambitious, assertive, and productive are not only welcomed but demanded.
But Jesus’ “Job Description” was unlike any earthly job description.
