"The Priority of Jesus" (Isaiah 40:21-31, Mark 1:29-39)

Part of the Epiphany series, preached at a Sunday After Epiphany service
The first priority of Jesus was to pray. We read in Mark1:35, “In the morning, while it was still very dark, he got up and went out to a deserted place, and there he prayed.” How much prayer meant to Jesus? It was not only his regular habit, but his resort in every emergency, however slight or serious.
