"Prayer of Seeking" (Psalm 34:1-22, Mark 8:31-38)

In Psalm 34 we see David after having experiencing great suffering, now urges the afflicted to do what he did. David cried out to God and experienced God’s protection and peace. Suffering is inevitable. Though we work and plan for success and security, we see here that suffering, our own or that of those close to us, is sure to come. Since suffering is universal, many are in the midst of life-changing troubles right now.
