Part of the Sunday series, preached at a Sunday service

Complaining to God is not always bad. During their desert wanderings, the Israelites complained against Moses and Aaron whenever they faced a crisis. But in reality, however, they were complaining “against the Lord” (16:8). Apostle Paul warns us not to follow their example (1 Co 10:10). On the other hand complaining about the good that comes to others in God's vineyard will not get us far.
It is not a good thing “To desire wrongfully, inordinately, or without due regard for the rights of others. It is called COVET. The parable of the laborers in the vineyard is about coveting, about our frustration with the grace of God as it applies not to us, but to others.
