"A Simple Request!" (Psalm 118:14-29, Luke 19:28-40)

Part of the Sunday series, preached at a Sunday service

Jesus would make "Simple Requests" of his disciples. Jesus needed a donkey to begin his triumphal journey into Jerusalem, and so he said to his disciples, 'Go to the village ahead of you, and as you enter it you will find tied there a colt that has never been ridden. Untie it and bring it here. "If anyone asks you, "why your are untying it?" just say this: "The Lord needs it."' Jesus' request was simple yet profound! Jesus continues to make simple request of us, such as: "Follow Me; Love One Another." What is Jesus asking of you today!
