"Worship: A Simple Act of Gratitude!" (Isaiah 43:16-21, John 12:1-8)

Rev. Dr. Marjorie E. NunesRev. Dr. Marjorie E. Nunes, April 7, 2019
Part of the Lent series, preached at a Lent service

Worship is defined as the feeling or expression of reverence and adoration for a deity—of God! But there can be: a) Calculated Worship; b) Thoughtless Worship, c) True Worship. True Worship is with the mind as well as the heart. That is why every time we cross the sacred threshold of true worship, we tread on dangerous ground—far more dangerous than any stretch of the expressway you might travel. Because at any moment, our masks may be torn away and our true motives exposed. We may find ourselves face to face with the Living God!
