"Life Giving Bread" (Ephesians 4:1-16, John 6:24-35)

Rev. Dr. Marjorie E. NunesRev. Dr. Marjorie E. Nunes, August 1, 2021
Part of the Pentecost series, preached at a Pentecost service

Spiritual Poverty of the West – Mother Theresa writes: “The spiritual poverty of the Western world is much greater than the physical poverty of our people. You in the West have millions of people who suffer such terrible loneliness and emptiness.” In the Christian ritual of the Eucharist, bread is eaten as a sacrament either as a symbolic representation of the body of Christ or, as in the Catholic liturgy, as a real manifestation of the body of Christ.
