We need Rest! We need Physical Rest! We need Emotional Rest! We need Mental Rest! We need Spiritual Rest, which is the ability to connect beyond the physical and mental and feel a deep sense of belonging, love, acceptance and purpose. Throughout the psalm the writer assumes that people need rest from the stresses and troubles of life.
